However, candidates must prepare Reading Comprehension, Correction of Sentences, Articles, Prepositions and Tenses & Spelling etc. Candidates must improve their Vocabulary. In order to prepare for English section and improve vocabulary, candidates must read English newspaper, magazines, books etc.
 
General Knowledge (GK) Syllabus for Combined Defence Services Examination
 
 
To crack the GK section of the exam, the test takers must be aware about the current events of their state, country and world at large. In addition to this, candidates must brush up the history of India, geography of nature etc. GK section is all about how much a candidate is informed and aware about his/her surroundings, country etc. So in order to prepare for GK section, one must be well informed about the latest events and burning topics of discussions etc.
 
Elementary Mathematics Syllabus for Combined Defence Services Examination
 
 
The syllabus of Elementary Mathematics includes Arithmetic, Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Mensuration, Statistics etc. Candidates must prepare the aforesaid topics well so as to excel in the section. Candidates must study Number System-Natural numbers, Integers, Rational and Real numbers etc for Arithmetic section.
