Vasantdada Patil Dental College and Hospital is run and managed by Shri Vishwanathrao Shamrao Patil Charitable Trust, Sangli. Located in Sangli (Maharashtra), the dental college was started in 1989. It is recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI), New Delhi, the Govt. of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, New Delhi.
 
Vasantdada Patil Dental College and Hospital was previously affiliated to Shivaji University Kolhapur but now, the dental college is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Science, Nashik. The college admits students every year for Bachelor of Dental Sciences (BDS), a four- year undergraduate course and Master of Dental Sciences (MDS) course, at the two-year full time programme. The hospital, to which the college is attached, has modern medical facilities.
