Located in Lodhi Road, South Delhi in the vicinity of many prominent institutions, stadium, monuments etc., Dyal Singh Collegeoffers various undergraduate and post graduate programmes. Established in 1959, the college is a constituent part of Delhi University (University of Delhi, which is also referred to as DU). The college offers altogether nineteen courses. Over the years, the college has carved a niche for itself by becoming a premiere institution by offering high quality of education. The inclusion of modern amenities and infrastructure for the students has made this institution a preferable choice for the students.
Dyal Singh College, which started functioning as a constituent college of the University, came under the administrative control of Delhi University in 1978, as a University maintained college. The college derives its name from one of the greatest philanthropist and education enthusiast of his time - Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia.
