Post Graduate Medical Admission Test, PGMAT, is held by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) for the admission in postgraduate medical course.

Bihar PGMAT Entrance Exam

Bihar Post Graduate Medical Admission Test, also known as Bihar PGMAT, is conducted to enroll students to postgraduate medical program. The entrance test is held by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB). Various medical colleges in the state of Bihar accept the score of the candidates in the entrance test, for admissions to courses in the field of medical sciences. Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) was set up by the Government of Bihar, under the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Act 1995. The final selection of the candidates is purely decided on the basis of marks obtained by them in the entrance test.

The admission seekers should have graduation in the relevant field, from any recognized University.

Examination Pattern

The entrance test consists of three subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The student must complete the entrance test within one hour duration. The medium of the test is English.
