Indian Economic Service Exam Question Papers



Indian Economic Services (IES) exam is one of the prestigious exams conducted by Union Public service Commission (UPSC). The examination is held every year in the month of November or December. UPSC conducts IES examination every year to recruit Grade IV officers. Young candidates who have qualified post graduate degree from a recognized university in Economics/ Business Economics/ Applied Economics / Econometrics for Indian Economic Services are eligible to apply. Candidates selected in IES exam are placed in Tariff Commission, Labour Bureau, the Planning Commission, Central Electricity Authority, and Economic Advisers to many ministries, Forward Market Commission, Planning Board, Tariff Commission National sample survey and other allied offices, where specialists in Economics are required.
