Tinsukia College, situated in Tinsukia district of Assam, is an aided co-educational institute. The college was established in the year 1956 as a result of the selfless efforts of late B.K. Saraswatji, to impart value based higher education for the students living in and around Tinsukia. Tinsukia College is affiliated to Dibrugarh University and recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC). The college offers several undergraduate courses in Arts, Science, and Commerce disciplines, along with three-year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program, conducted by the Center for Management Education (CME), Tinsukia. Besides, the college runs higher secondary courses in all these subjects, apart from certificate programs like Certificate in Bioinformatics and Certificate of Computer Application (CCA). The college serves as a study center for Krishna Kanta Handique State Open University (KKSHOU).

Candidates who have passed the intermediate/10+2 level examination of AHSEC/CBSE, recognized by the State Govt. of Assam, in any discipline are eligible for BA/B.Com/BBA courses offered here. Those who have completed the same in Science subjects are eligible for B.Sc courses.

Admission of the selected candidates is done on the basis of percentage of marks obtained by them in the 10+2 level and as per the norms of Dibrugarh University.
