S J G M V’s Arts and Commerce College for Women, situated in Hubli, Karnataka, was established in 1967. His Holiness late Srimanmaharaj Niranjan Jagadguru Dr. Gangadhar Rajayogendra Mahaswamiji of Shree Jagadguru Moorusavirmath Vidyavardhak Sangha (SJGMV) has founded the college to impart the highly needed basic education for the women population of the district. S J G M V’s Arts and Commerce College for Women is affiliated to Karnataka University and is also recognized as a Grant-in-aid college by UGC. The college is surrounded by a straggling campus area and well maintained infractructure. S J G M V’s Arts and Commerce College for Women conducts degree courses in Arts and Commerce streams. Besides, the UGC sponsored courses like B Com (vocational) with office management and Secretarial Practice and a certificate course in Computer Applications are also offered here.
