Ghousia College of Engineering is a premier institute for higher education in Bangalore, the capital city of Karnataka. The college came into being in 1980. The college offers courses approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and it is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum. 

Ghousia College of Engineering is owned and managed by Ghousia Industrial & Engineering Trust, Bangalore. The college is a private, unaided, self-financed minority institution, recognized by the Government of Karnataka. Ghousia College of Engineering promises to offer conducive learning atmosphere, to its students.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 level of examination with minimum 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, from any recognized Board.

Post Graduate:
Admission is open to all the candidates who have passed BE / B Tech examinations (in relevant field) with not less than 50% of the marks in the aggregate, from VTU or any other University / Institution or any other examinations recognised as equivalent thereto. For SC/ST and Group I candidates the aggregate percentage of marks in the qualifying examinations shall not be less than 45%.

Master's in relevant stream is mandatory to be eligible for this programme.
Admission Procedure:

Admissions are routed on the basis of marks obtained on K-CET and KRLM-CET (Karnataka Religious & Linguistic Minority Professional colleges Association).

Entrance Test: KRLMPCA CET, Karnataka CET, Lateral Entry

Post Graduate:
M Tech
Selection is done on the basis of performance of the candidates in the entrance examination PGCET, merit of the qualifying examinations and performance in the interview, ranking shall be prepared and accordingly admission shall be made in order of merit.
