College of Vocational Studies Delhi University offers several courses at different levels.

College of Vocational Studies

College of Vocational Studiescame into being in 1972, with the objective to bridge the ever-increasing gap between the conventional academic education and the changing current scenario. The co-educational college of University of Delhi is among the leading institutions of vocational studies in India. Apart from conducting vocational courses, the college also offers Honours Courses in various streams, namely, Commerce, Economics, History, Business Economics and Computer Science. Certificate Diploma in Foreign Language and Post graduate diploma in Tourism and Book Publishing is also conducted by College of Vocational Studies, University of Delhi. Curriculum of the courses has been structured, considering the contemporary scenario and in such a manner that it provides an opportunity to the candidates for overall personality development.

B.A. (Vocational Studies)
Candidates with minimum 40% aggregate marks in one language and three best elective subjects of 10+2 of the CBSE New Delhi or Pre-university examination of an Indian University recognized by the University of Delhi or any other examination considered as equivalent thereto are eligible.

Bachelor of Arts (BA) Honours (History, Economics) (B. Com)
Candidates are required to score at least 45% aggregate marks in one language and three best elective subjects of 10+2 of the CBSE New Delhi or any other examination recognized equivalent thereto.

B.A. (Hons.) Business Economics
Candidates with pass in 10+2 of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi or any other examination recognized as equivalent with a minimum 55% aggregate marks in four subjects (English, Mathematics and two Elective Subjects). Relaxation of 5% is there for SC/ST and CW reserved categories candidates.

Bachelor of Science (B. Sc) (Hons) (Computer Science)
Candidates, who have passed 10+2 of the CBSE Board or any other equivalent examination there to in Arts/Commerce/Science stream with minimum 55% aggregate marks in four subjects including mathematics, one language and two other subjects are eligible. Candidates are also required to score minimum of 60% marks in Mathematics.

Post Graduate Diploma:
Candidates, who have done their graduation in any field from a recognized University, are eligible. Those, who have passed B.A. (Vocational) examination from Delhi University, are also eligible.
Admission Procedure:

B.A. (Hons.) Business Economics
Selection depends on the candidate’s scores in common admission test conducted by the Department of Business Economics South Campus, University of Delhi.

B.A (Hons.)/ B. Com. (Hons.)/ B.A. (Vocational Studies)
Admissions are based on the merit of qualifying examination.

Bachelor of Science (B. Sc)
Admissions are based on the candidate’s scores in the qualifying examination. 5% additional weight age is given to those, who have studied physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 10+2 level.

Post Graduate Diploma:
Admissions will be done as per the rules and regulation lay down by the college admission committee.
