Madras Medical College is situated in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It was established in 1835 by the state government with a mission of promoting education in medical field. It is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai. The institute is aimed at giving quality training to produce qualified and competent doctors. Madras Medical College has received approval from Medical Council of India (MCI), New Delhi and recognized by Government of Tamil Nadu. Eligibility:

Undergraduate:
Applicants should have passed 10+2 in sciences stream with minimum aggregate of 50% marks from any recognized Board. In case of SC/St, 5% can be relaxed for candidates. Minimum and Maximum age limit is 17 years to 35 years for applying to the all available UG course. Upper age limit can be relaxed by 3 years for SC/ST candidates.

Post Graduate Diploma:
Candidates must have qualified for the MBBS degree from any university recognized by the Medical Council of India and must have at least experience of 2 years in medically underserved areas, recognized as such by this institution.

Post Graduate:
Applicants should have passed MBBS with minimum aggregate of 50 % from any recognized board. In case of SC/St, 5 % can be relaxed for candidates.

Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm):
Applicants must have passed B.Pharm with minimum aggregate of 50 % from any recognized Board. In case of SC/St, 5 % can be relaxed for candidates.

M.Sc Nursing:
Candidates should have passed B.Sc (Nursing) with minimum of 55% aggregate marks and in respect of SC/ ST candidates 50%, from any University / Institution recognized or established under any State or Central Act/ Indian Nursing Council, The candidate should be a registered Nurse and registered midwife or equivalent with any state Nursing Registration council and have 1 year experience. Candidates should not have completed 45 years as on 31st December of the year of admission, is relaxed by 3 years in case of SC and ST candidates.

Doctorate:
Candidates should have Passed MD/ MS From recognized medical college with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
