C U Shah Arts College, located in the walled city of Ahmedabad in Gujarat, is an aided co-educational college. The college was started in the year 1960 as “City Law and Arts College” to impart quality Arts education among the students in and around Ahmedabad. Managed by Gujarat Law Society, the college was renamed as “C U Shah Arts College” in 1976 after receiving a huge amount of donation from C U Shah Family for the development of college. The college is well equipped with all infrastructure facilities within a nice and composed campus. Affiliated to Gujarat University, C U Shah Arts College is also accredited with a “B” certificate by NAAC. The college offers several undergraduate and post graduate courses like B A (Psychology/Sociology/Economics/Sanskrit/Hindi/Gujarati/English) and M A (Psychology).

The candidates who have passed two year Higher Secondary examination of Gujarat Secondary Board or its equivalent in any discipline are eligible for the B A courses in respective subjects offered here.
