Amrita School of Dentistry, located in Kochi/Cochin (Kerala), is approved by Dental council of India (DCI). The college conducts five years of undergraduate degree level Bachelor’s of Dental Surgery (BDS) course along with undergraduate level diploma course in Dental Mechanics and postgraduate level Master’s of Dental Surgery (MDS) course. Amrita School of Dentistry, affiliated to Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (University), commenced BDS course in 2003. The dental college aims to impart high standards of education to the aspirants in order to train them to become well qualified and skilled dentists. With the intention to fulfill its aim, it has equipped itself with state-of-the-art facilities.

Eligibility:

Undergraduate:
The candidates, who have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology & English individually and have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in English and 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in 10+2, are eligible provided they are aged between 17 years of age to 23 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.

Diploma:
The candidates with pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination in science stream from a recognized board are eligible.

Post Graduate:
Those, who have passed BDS from a recognized University, are eligible.
Admission Procedure:

Selection is based on the rank obtained in the All India entrance test conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.

Post Graduate:
The candidates are selected on the basis of their rank obtained in the All India entrance test conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
