St. John's Medical College is situated in Bangalore/Bengaluru, Karnataka. The college was started by the Catholic Bishop's Conference of India in 1963. St. John's Medical College is a part of St. John's National Academy of Health Sciences. It is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bangalore. It is approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI), New Delhi and recognized by the Government of Karnataka. The institute is aimed at imparting medical education and producing well trained health personnel with social values.
 
St. John's Medical College is well equipped with all basic and necessary infrastructural facilities. It also has its own hospital which provides several opportunities for students to gain practical experience and exposure to the professional practices of medical field.

Eligibility:

Undergraduate:
Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS):
Candidates must have passed 10+2 with minimum aggregate of 50% marks in English and Physics, Chemistry and Biology each from any recognized Board. For SC/St the qualifying marks 40% is acceptable. Candidates must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission, and not crossed the age of 35 years.

B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT):
Candidates must have passed 10+2 with minimum aggregate of 40% marks in English and Physics, Chemistry and Biology each from any recognized Board. Candidates must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission, and not crossed the age of 35 years.

B.Sc. in Medical Imaging Technology (MIT):
Candidates must have passed 10+2 with minimum aggregate of 40% marks in English and Physics, Chemistry and Biology each from any recognized Board. Candidates must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission, and not crossed the age of 35 years.

B.Sc. in Renal Dialysis (RD):
Candidates must have passed 10+2 with minimum aggregate of 40% marks in English and Physics, Chemistry and Biology each from any recognized Board. Candidates must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission, and not crossed the age of 35 years.

B.Sc. in Cardiac Perfusion Technology (CPT):
Candidates must have passed 10+2 with minimum aggregate of 40% marks in English and Physics, Chemistry and Biology each from any recognized Board. Candidates must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission, and not crossed the age of 35 years.

Post Graduate Diploma:
Candidates must have qualified for the MBBS degree from any university recognized by the Medical Council of India and must have at least experience of 2 years in medically underserved areas, recognized as such by this institution.

Post Graduate:
Doctorate of Medicine (MD):

Doctorate:
Doctor of Medicine (DM) in Cardiology:
Candidates, who have passed M.D. General Medicine from any university recognized by the Medical Council of India, are eligible to apply for the course.

Master of Chirurgy (M.Ch):
Candidates, who have passed M.S. General Surgery from any university recognized by the Medical Council of India, are eligible to apply for the course.

Respiratory Medicine:
The candidate should have qualified for the MBBS degree from any university recognized by the Medical Council of India, and completed Part I of DNBE.

ENT:
The candidate should have qualified for the MBBS degree from any university recognized by the Medical Council of India, and completed Part I of DNBE/ DLO.

Super Speciality – Gastroenterology:
A candidate can be considered for admission to the above courses if he/she has passed MD/DNB in Medicine or Paediatrics plus passed in Super-specialty CET of the NBE.

Super Speciality – Nephrology:
A candidate can be considered for admission to the above courses if he/she has passed MS/DNB in Surgery plus passed in Super-specialty CET of the NBE.

Super Speciality – Neurology:
A candidate can be considered for admission to the above courses if he/she has passed MS/DNB in Surgery plus passed in Super-specialty CET of the NBE.

Super Speciality – Neurosurgery:
Candidate can be considered for admission to the above courses if he/she has passed MS/DNB in Surgery plus passed in Super-specialty CET of the NBE.

Super Speciality – Neonatology
A candidate can be considered for admission to the above courses if he/she has passed MD/DNB in Paediatrics plus passed in Super-specialty CET of the NBE

Super Speciality - Urology
