SA Engineering College wasfounded by Dharma Educational Trust in 1998 with the vision of spreading quality higher education in Thiruvallur and its nearby regions. Candidates seeking admission in BE/B.Tech courses should have passed 10+2 level examination from the State Board of High Secondary Education of Tamil Nadu, or its equivalent approved by Anna University. In addition, general category candidates should have secured 50% marks in aggregate, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Candidates belonging to BC, MBC, and SC/ST/NRI categories should obtain minimum 45%, 40%, and 35% respectively, to apply for the course. Diploma students seeking admission in second year of BE/B.Tech courses should have passed the Diploma Examination of State Board of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu, or its equivalent, and graduation, with Mathematics as one of the subjects, and obtained aggregate marks as mentioned above in the last semester of their diploma.
Post Graduate:
Aspiring candidates should have completed graduation in appropriate branches from any recognized university to be eligible for the ME/MCA/MBA courses.
Undergraduate:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and as per norms of Anna University of Technology, Chennai and the Government of Tamil Nadu.
Post Graduate:
Selection will be made on the basis of the marks obtained in the relevant entrance examination, followed by group discussion and personal interview.
