The applicants must have passed in 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognized Board with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as subjects of study. In order to seek admission under NRI seats, candidates are required to score minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Intermediate Examination.

Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University are eligible to apply for the course.

70% Seats are filled through common entrance test - EAMCET, conducted by Government of Andhra Pradesh, while 25 % seats are filled Under NRI Quota and 5% seats are reserved for National Integration Quota. Seats under NRI Quota are filled according to the candidate scores in qualifying examination and seats reserved for National Integration Quota are filled as per AIEEE rank.
