Madras Institute of Technology is one of the oldest engineering institutes in India. The college was established in 1949 as ‘The All India Technological Institution’. The college is an integral part of Anna University. Admission Procedure:

The admission of the candidates is done through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission Entrance Examination (TNPCEE) by TNEA Anna University for government quota and Common Entrance Test (CET) by Consortium of self financing engineering colleges for management quota.
