Institute of Technology and Marine Engineering is located in Jhinga, West Bengal. The college has been working in marine engineering and other disciplines of science, since its commencement in 2002. Candidates must have passed their Higher Secondary or equivalent examination from a recognized Board, with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. For Marine Engineering, the candidate must have secured 50% marks in English in 10th or 12th standard and must be of 20 years of age.
