Institute of Management Sciences came into existence in 2007. Located in Jammu (J&K), it is among the constituent parts of Jamwal Group of Educational Institutions, which is managed and run by Jamwal Educational Trust’ and ‘Tawi Educational Trust’. Affiliated to Jammu University, Institute of Management Sciences Jammu offers undergraduate level management programme, that is, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), a three-year full time programme.
Institute of Management Sciences Jammu also offers postgraduate level programme in the field of management - Master of Business Administration (MBA). It is a two-year full time programme, which is offered under the approval as well as guidelines of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. Candidates must have cleared 10+2 level of examination with minimum 50% marks in aggregate, from any recognized state/national Board.
Post Graduate:
Aspirants need to have passed Bachelor’s level of examination with securing not less than 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) in any discipline, from any statutory University.

Candidates are offered admission on the basis of a written admission test, conducted by the University. For the final selection, group discussion and personal interview are also conducted.
Post Graduate:
To be selected for this programme, the candidates have to appear in MAT Entrance Exam, which is followed by group discussion and personal interview.
