Himachal College of Education, located in Nalagarh in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh, is among the preferred colleges of B. Ed in the state. The institution is recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) Northern Regional Committee Jaipur and is affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University (HPU), Shimla. It started its first academic session in 1999-2000.
