Located in Berhampore (West Bengal), Government College of Engineering & Textile Technology was established in 1927. Formerly known as College of Textile Technology, the college is affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. In 2004, Department of Textile Technology of the institute got accreditation from National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The college imparts quality education in the field of Engineering and Textile Technology, at ythe undergraduate level.
