Carmel College, located in Trichur district of Kerala, is an aided women’s college. Established in 1981, the college is run by the Sisters of the Congregation of Mother of Carmel. The college is well equipped with all requisite facilities within the beautifully maintained campus. Carmel College is affiliated to the University of Calicut and accredited with an “A” grade certificate by NAAC. The college offers several undergraduate and post-graduate courses in Arts, Commerce, and Science faculties. Besides, the college offers some computer short-term courses and other add-on courses.

Eligibility:

Undergraduate:
Candidates who have passed their 10+2 level examination from Kerala State Examination Board, or its equivalent, in any discipline are eligible for the BA/B.Com courses offered here. Those who have completed the same in science subjects are eligible to apply for the B.Sc courses.

Post Graduate:
Graduates in relevant subjects are eligible for the MA/M.Sc courses offered here.
Admission Procedure:

Undergraduate:
Admission of the selected candidates is done on the basis of percentage of marks obtained by them in their 10+2 level and the personal interview conducted by the college itself.

Post Graduate:
Admission into post-graduate programmes is made as per the norms of the University of Calicut.
