The institute is managed under the aegis of Vivekanand Education Society (VES), which owns numerous educational institutions that are spread all over the state. The society aims to produce competent lawyers as well as prepare the students for several administrative and corporate jobs. VES College of Law is affiliated to the University of Mumbai, to impart quality professional education in the field of Law. The college offers two full-time degree courses in Law such as 3 years Degree LLB course and 5 years degree BLS/LLB course which are approved by Bar Council of India.

The candidates should have completed their graduation in any discipline from a recognized university with 45% marks in aggregate are eligible to apply for the three year LLB programmes of 3 years. The candidates must have passed their High School Certificate examination or its equivalent with 45% marks in aggregate are eligible for the five years BLS/LLB programmes of 5 years.
