The Venkataramana Ayurveda College is located in Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu. Established in 1979, the Ayurvedic College is counted among the top Ayurveda colleges in the state. At the time of its inception, the college was affiliated to University of Madras, but in 1989, the affiliation was transferred to Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai.
The Venkataramana Ayurveda College imparts undergraduate course in the field of Ayurveda - Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine & Surgery (BAMS). The course is of five and a half year's duration. To provide a comfortable environment for learning Ayurveda, The Venkataramana Ayurveda College also offers many modern facilities to its students such as library, computer and internet facilities, placements etc.
