Swarnandhra College of Engineering & Technology, established in 2001, at Narsapur in West Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh, is one of the preferred options to acquire technical education among the ambitious students. The college is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada and has got the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, Department of Technical Education (DTE), Hyderabad, and Government of Andhra Pradesh. Four of the undergraduate courses, namely, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Information Technology offered by Swarnandhra College of Engineering and Technology hold the distinction of being accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) for a term of three years, starting from July, 19, 2008. Eligibility:
Undergraduate:
Candidates longing for admission into B. Tech must have passed Intermediate Examination / 10+2 conducted by Board of Intermediate Education, A.P or 3 year Diploma course conducted by SBTET, AP or equivalent Course recognized by Board of Intermediate. For admission under lateral entry scheme, the candidates must have completed their Diploma course from Polytechnics.
Post Graduate:
M. Tech
The candidates must have done B.E/B. Tech in the relevant fields.
MCA
Graduation with Mathematics or any field with Mathematics at 10+2 standard is the eligibility criteria for MCA programme.
MBA
Graduation in any field is a pre-requisite to seek admission in MBA programme.

Admissions to 75% of the seats are done by the Convener on the basis of EAMCET scores and 25% of the sanctioned seats are available under the management quota for which rules forwarded by the Chairman, APSCHE are followed.
For admission under lateral entry scheme, scores of ECET are considered.
