Silapathar College, located at Silapathar, in Dhemaji district of Assam, is an aided co-educational college. The college was founded in 1979 by the local people of Silapathar, a remote and backward area in Dhemaji district. Silapathar College is affiliated to Dibrugarh University and recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC), under several schemes. The college is also assessed and accredited with a “B” grade certificate by NAAC. The college offers several undergraduate courses in Arts faculty. Besides, the college conducts higher secondary courses in these arts subjects, along with professional course in Computer Applications.
