Nalanda College of Education,located in Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh, started its first academic session in 2000-2001. The autonomous institution is recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) Northern Regional Committee Jaipur and is affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University (HPU), Shimla. The educational institution has also gained the approval from Government of Himachal Pradesh. Nalanda College of Education, which is working under the aegis of Nalanda Education Society, conducts one year of Bachelor of Education (B.
