Modern Education College,located in the capital city of Himachal Pradesh - Shimla, conducts one year of Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) course in various disciplines of science (medical & non-medical) and arts stream. The educational institution, which came into existence in December 2006, started its first academic session in 2007-2008. The autonomous institution, which is working under the aegis of registered Modern Shiksha Samiti, is recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and is affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University (HPU), Shimla.
