Kamargaon College, located at Kamargaon, in Golaghat district of Assam, is an aided co-educational institute. The college was established in 1972 to fulfill the need of quality higher education among the students of Golaghat region. Kamargaon College is affiliated to Dibrugarh University and accredited with a “C++” grade certificate by NAAC. The college offers undergraduate courses in several Arts subjects like English, Assamese, Economics, Adv. Assamese, Education, History, Sociology, and Political Science. Besides, the college also provides higher secondary programs in Arts subjects, along with several career-oriented programs financed by UGC and self-financing short-term courses. The college serves as a study center for Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU).
