Institute of Engineering & Technology is located in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh. Started in 2005, it is one of the constituent units of Sitapur Shiksha Sansthan Trust, Sitapur. The institute is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University, now known as Gautam Buddh Technical University (GBTU), Lucknow. Institute of Engineering & Technology Sitapur is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Developement, Government of India.
Institute of Engineering & Technology Sitapur offers undergraduate level programme in the field of engineering - Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech). It is a four-year full time programme. Apart from engineering course, the institute also offers postgraduate level programme in the field of management - Master of Business Administration (MBA). Graduation in any stream from any recognized university is a pre-requisite.

Admissions to this course are made on UPSEE exam by UP Technical University. 15% seats are left as Management Quota. Candidates who have passed Diploma in any branch of Engineering with minimum 60% marks from any recognized Institute by the UP Board of Technical Education can take admission in the second year in any branch of Engineering.
