Gandhi Medical College is one of the reputed medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh. Located in Hyderabad, the college was established in 1954. Gandhi Medical College has been in the field of higher education in medical sciences, for the past 50 years. It boasts of being the second medical college in the city of Hyderabad. Affiliated to NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Vijaywada, Andhra Pradesh, GMC was inaugurated by the first President of India - Dr. Rajendra Prasad.
Gandhi Medical College offers a wide range of medical courses at graduation and post graduation level. The facilities, ambience, well qualified and experienced faculty facilitate the dissemination of quality medical education. Slowly and gradually, the college has seen a tremendous growth in terms of infrastructure and increase in the number of courses.

For graduation in medicine the admission is based on ranks obtained in the EAMCET (Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test).

Post Graduate:
The Admissions are based on rank and points obtained in the AP Post-Graduation Medical Entrance Test.
