Dyal Singh College (Evening) is located in Lodhi Road, South Delhi in the area of many prominent institutions, stadium, monuments etc. The college, established in 1959, is a constituent part of the University of Delhi, which is also known as DU. The evening college offers undergraduate degree courses in Arts and Commerce. The college provides an opportunity to those who cannot attend day time classes. The evening courses are recognized equivalent to the regular day time courses. Dyal Singh College (Evening) provides all the modern amenities and facilities for the students.
Dayal Singh College, which started functioning as a constituent college of the University of Delhi, came under the administrative control of Delhi University in 1978, as a University maintained college. The college derives its name from one of the greatest philanthropist and education enthusiast of his time, Sargar Dyal Singh Majithia.
