Dr. Zakir Husain College, located at Ilayangudi of Tamil Nadu, is a co-educational minority aided institute. The college was established in the year 1970 by Muslim Minority Community and named after the late President of India, Dr Zakir Hussain. Affiliated to Alagappa University, the college is accredited with an “A’ grade certificate by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bangalore. Dr Zakir Hussain College provides both aided and self-financing undergraduate, post graduate and doctoral programmes in Arts, Science, and Commerce faculties.

Undergraduate:
Candidates who have passed the 10+2 examination, or its equivalent, in Arts subjects from Tamil Nadu State Board of Education or its equivalent are eligible for the BA/B Com/BBA/BBE programmes offered here. Those who have completed the same in science subjects are eligible for the B Sc courses.
Post Graduate Diploma:
Any graduate can apply for the PGDCA course offered here.
Post Graduate:
Graduates in relevant subjects are eligible for MA/M Sc/M Com courses offered here.
Doctorate:
