Christu Jyoti Institute of Technology & Science is located at Warangal, in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The college came into existence in 1998. It is affiliated to the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad, and all the courses offered by it are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. In the present time, Christu Jyothi Institute of Technology & Science offers technical education at UG level in various branches of engineering.

EAMCET score of the candidates is considered for admissions, which is conducted by JNTU, Hyderabad. Weightage is given to the candidates who posses good percentage in admission test and qualifying exam. Since the college is a Christian Minority Institute, first preference is given to Christian candidates. The vacant seats, if any, are open to non-minority applicants as well. Admissions are subject to reservation policy of the institution.
