Azad Institute of Engineering & Technology came into existence in 1998. Located in Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), it is managed and run by Azad Educational Society. The institute is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University, now known as Gautam Buddh Technical University (GBTU), Lucknow. Azad Institute of Engineering & Technology is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
Azad Institute of Engineering & Technology Lucknow conducts undergraduate level and postgraduate level programmes in the field of engineering - Bachelor of Technology (B Tech) and Master of Technology (M Tech). Candidates wishing to take admission in B Tech courses require 10+2 in science (PCM).
Post Graduate Diploma:
Graduation in any stream is mandatory to be eligible for this programme.

One should have graduation degree in the the desired stream.
MCA
Students must have done Graduation with Mathematics at 10+2 standard.
MBA
Candidates must have done Graduation in any discipline.
Admission Procedure:
Undergraduate:
Admission is done on the basis of a Combined Entrance Exam, (SEE-UPTU), conducted by Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow. 15% of total seats are reserved for Management quota.
Entrance Test: UP SEE
Post Graduate:
M Tech:
Enrolment is done on the basis of GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) score.
MBA/MCA: Admissions are conducted through UPSEE. Management quota is 15%.
