Academy of Business Administration Orissa came into existence in 1993. Located in Balasore (Orissa), the management institute is affiliated to Fakir Mohan University, Balasore for its UG courses and also to Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) for the PG courses. Academy of Business Administration Balasore is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India and recognized by the Government of Orissa.
Academy of Business Administration conducts undergraduate and postgraduate level programmes in the field management - Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA). Apart from management courses, the institute also conducts UG as well as PG courses in computer applications, that is, Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA). Academy of Business Administration Balasore provides ample basic amenities within its sprawling campus.

Eligibility:
Undergraduate:
The candidates must have passed 10+2 level of examination in any stream with minimum 45% marks in aggregate, from any recognized Board. For BCA, the candidates should have Mathematics as one of the subjects.
Post Graduate:
Graduation in the relevant stream is mandatory to apply for these PG programmes. However, the candidates applying for MCA course must have studied Mathematics up to 10+2 level.
Admission Procedure:

The admission of the candidates is done on the basis of a written test (conducted by the college), followed by group discussion and personal interview.
Post Graduate:
MBA
The candidates are selected to this programme on the basis of Orissa JEE/CAT/MAT entrance test, which is followed by group discussion and personal interview.
MCA
The candidates must appear in Orissa JEE entrance test to be selected for this programme.
