ILI CAT

Indian Law Institute Common Admission Test, which is also known as ILI CAT, is conducted by the Indian Law Institute, which is a deemed University. The entrance test is conducted for admission in postgraduate level programme in the field of law – Master of Laws (LLM), a two-year full time course. After the test, a merit list is prepared based on the performance of the candidates in the entrance test. The short-listed candidates are then called for viva-voce. Final selection of the candidates is done on the basis of their performance in both the entrance test and viva-voce. Indian Law Institute, located in Delhi, came into existence in 1956. In 2004, it was declared as a ‘Deemed University’ under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The institute is also recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC).
