IIT-JAM is conducted by IITs every year on a rotational basis to select students for their M.Sc. and other post-B.Sc. programs.


 

IIT JAM

The Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. (JAM) is an all-India entrance test conducted by Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) on a rotational basis. IIT-JAM is the qualifying examination for admission to M.Sc. and other post-B.Sc. programs at the IITs.

Courses

The main objective of IIT-JAM is to provide admissions to these following courses offered by IITs:
  • 2-years Master of Science (M.Sc.)
  • Master of Science - Ph. D. Dual Degree
  • Master of Technology (M.Tech) at IIT, Roorkee
  • 3-years Interdisciplinary Master of Computer Applications (MCA) at IIT, Roorkee
