VEL Tech Dr RR & Dr SR Technical University has established several institutions under its educational banner and has been successfully conducting a range of courses. The VEL TECH Engineering College established by the University is known for its standard of education. It offers more than 25 courses approved by All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE, New Delhi. It offers programs leading to the award of BE, BTech, ME, MTech, MSc, MBA degrees.
The university has structured its educational programs and categorized them into groups. Students can choose from University core, Faculty core, Area core, Area elective, and University elective courses. The University has established international associations with various renowned organizations like Oklahoma State University Stillwater Campus (America), Construction Industry Development Council (Canada) and British Council.
Facilities
Apart from imparting quality education amongst the students, Vel Tech University provides all required facilities to its students. It has maintained more than 50 well equipped laboratories, computer facilities with 24 hours internet connectivity, aided by dynamic web support system accessible to every student and parent. History
Established in 1990 by a well known industrialist, VEL TECH group of educational institutions is known for imparting quality education. It has been declared as Deemed to be University under section u/s 3 of the UGC Act1956 by the UGC and notified by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, New Delhi.
