Pacific University, which is situated in Udaipur (Rajasthan), is a newly established University. It came into existence as one of the educational units of Pacific Academy of Higher Education & Research Society, which was started in 1997. Since its establishment, almost 18 educational institutes in the field of management, pharmacy, hotel management, engineering and dental sciences have been established by the Society. Pacific University, which is private in nature, was established through an act of Rajasthan State Assembly.

Educational Streams
The institute, under Pacific Academy of Higher Education & Research Society, has total strength of 5000 students, 300 faculty members and 200 non-teaching staff. With no exception, Pacific University boasts of various courses in the field of management, engineering and technology, computer and system science, pharmacy, hotel management and catering technology, dental sciences, media and mass communication and fashion technology. The University conducts these disciplines at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate level. Admissions to these programmes are done on the basis of entrance test conducted by Pacific University and also through marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examination.

Pacific University was established through an act of Rajasthan State Assembly, under the management of Pacific Academy of Higher Education & Research Society.
