DY Patil University conducts MBBS, MCh (Neuro-Surgery), MCh (Urology) and DM (Nephrology), BDS, MBA, AIBTCET-09 and MSc (Biotechnology), BSc, MSc, MPT, BPT and BSc (Optometry & Visual Sciences). The University makes special arrangements for admission of the NRI, PIO and Foreign categories, for those who have studied and passed the qualifying examination from schools and / or colleges located in foreign countries.

History
Dr DY Patil University was declared as a Deemed University vide Notification issued by the department of Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, New Delhi. On 24th January 2003, the same was confirmed by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi.
Padmashree Dr D Y Patil Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) Navi Mumbai has issued the notification for admission into B Tech / M Sc / M Tech programme, to be offered in the ensuing session 2013.
