Road, (Chennai-Trichy National Highway) BS Abdur Rahman University, formerly known as Crescent Engineering College, has been upgraded as a university. History
Originally known as formerly BS Abdur Rahman Crescent Engineering College, B.S. Abdur Rahman University, Vandalur was under section 3 of the UGC Act 1956.
