The candidates should have passed senior secondary examination from a recognized Board, with minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. Relaxation is there for different categories. The qualifying marks of the candidates under different categories are as follows-BC 55%, MBC / DNC 50% total marks in the related subjects and for SC / ST mere pass. Diploma holders can get admission in the First and Second year of BE / B Tech Course through Lateral Entry Scheme.
Post Graduate:

The candidate should possess any bachelor’s degree with Business Mathematics / Mathematics / Statistics as a subject of study. Besides, he/she should have taken Mathematics at Intermediate level.

The admissions are done through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission Entrance Examination (TNPCEE) by TNEA Anna University for government quota and Common Entrance Test (CET) by Consortium of self financing Engineering colleges under management quota. Few seats are reserved for AIEEE/CET (State conducted test/University tests)/Association conducted test.

Selection under government quota is made on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET), conducted by the Anna University, on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu and under management quota; the admissions are done through CET, which is conducted by Consortium of Self-Financing Professional, Arts and Science colleges in Tamil Nadu.
