Medical College Hospital Kolkata/Calcutta (West Bengal) holds the distinction of being the first medical college in Asia. The candidates need to have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects.

Post Graduate Diploma:

The aspirants should have completed MBBS with one year of internship, from a recognized institution.
