LD College of Engineering, which is also known as Lalbhai Dalpatbhai College of Engineering, is located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. It is one of the oldest engineering colleges in the state, as it was established in 1948. The college is affiliated to Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. Lalbhai Dalpatbhai College of Engineering is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Government of India.
LD College of Engineering is administered and run by Department of Technical education, Government of Gujarat. It is accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate level programmes in the various streams of engineering - Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) and Master of Technology (M. Tech).
