Lal Bahadur Shastry (LBS) College of Engineering College of Engineering is located at wide-spread area of 52 acres of land in Kasaragod district of Kerala. It is among the reputed colleges of technical education in the state. The college came into existence in 1993. Affiliated to Kannur University, it offers several technical courses at undergraduate level, along with post graduate program in computer applications. Lal Bahadur Shastry (LBS) College of Engineering is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. It holds the distinction of being accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA). Eligibility:

Undergraduate:
Minimum qualification for admission is a pass in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects of study. The applicants need to secure 50% marks in Mathematics individually and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics taken together. Or the candidates having at least 50% marks in three-year diploma in engineering are eligible.

For Lateral Entry scheme, the candidates need to have minimum of 60% marks in the three year diploma examination in engineering conducted by State Board of Technical Examinations or equivalent. SC/ST candidates need only a pass in the qualifying examination. The candidates belonging to Socially & Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) also get relaxation in qualifying norms.

Post Graduate:
MCA
The candidate should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university. In addition, he/she should have studied mathematics either at 10+2 or at graduation level.

Admission for both the merit quota and management quota is based on the rank secured in the Common Entrance Examination conducted by Government of Kerala.
