KC College of Engineering and Information Technology is a renowned institute for technical education in northern India. The college is located at Nawanshahr, Punjab. Affiliated to Punjab Technical University (PTU) Jalandhar, the college offers courses that have gained the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
KC College of Engineering and Information Technology started its journey towards becoming one of the prominent names in the field of higher education in India, in 2004, when it was established by KC Social Welfare Trust. The Trust, incepted in 1999, derived its name from Shri Kushal Chand (father of Sh. Prem Gandhi, Chairperson of the Trust), to whom the organization is dedicated.

The applicants should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory any one of Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology / Computer Science as optional subjects conducted by a recognized Board / University / Council.
For entry to second year the eligible candidates should have passed diploma in any engineering trade from Punjab State Board of Technical Education, Chandigarh / Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal (now named as Sant Harchand Singh Central Institute of Engineering & Tech. Longowal) / diploma from any other recognized State Board of Technical Education.
Post Graduate:
The eligible candidates should have passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or board.
Admission Procedure:
Undergraduate:
Admissions are done on the basis of Common Entrance Test (CET), All India Engineering Entrance Exam (AIEEE) conducted by the Punjab Technical University (PTU) Jalandhar and CBSE New Delhi respectively. The institute itself fills the Management quota seats.
For Lateral Entry admissions are done on the basis of Lateral Entry Entrance Test (LEET).
