Students, who have passed 10+2 or any other equivalent examination from a recognized Board / College in science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Computer) with minimum 50% marks, are eligible to apply. However, they have to appear in UPSEE, conducted by GBTU, Lucknow and MTU, Noida.
Post Graduate:
Candidates who have passed bachelor degree examination in any stream with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University / College are eligible to apply. Those who have passed the same with mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 can also apply. In addition, appearing in UPSEE is mandatory for all applicants.
Undergraduate:
Selection is made on the basis of merit obtained in the entrance test, followed by counseling and as per the norms of GBTU, Lucknow. FIET also offers direct admission through management quota.
