Established in 2008, at Purba Medinipur, West Bengal, Deshparan College of Teachers Education started with the perspective of providing jobs in the field of teaching, to the unemployed educated youth, by offering quality education through its one-year undergraduate level Bachelor of Education course. The college is functioning under the aegis of Jararnagar Rural and Educational Welfare Society and is affiliated to Vidyasagar University. To conduct the course, Deshparan College of Teachers Education is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The non-minority co-ed college is associated with dedicated teachers, who help in the development of the aspiring teachers and nurture them to become qualified for secondary and higher secondary level teaching.
