UP CPMT

Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre Medical Test (UP CPMT) is conducted to select candidates for the undergraduate medical courses in the various colleges of Uttar Pradesh. The courses for which the candidates are selected are:
  • MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery)
  • BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery)
  • BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery)
  • BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine & Surgery)
  • BUMS (Bachelor of Unani Medicine & Surgery)
Eligibility

The candidate should have passed or appeared/appearing in 10+2 / Intermediate (12th) of UP Board or any other Board / University or an equivalent examination with Physics Chemistry and Biology.

The candidate should be a citizen of India and a bonafide resident of the State of Uttar Pradesh. He/she must have attained 17 years of age on or before December 31 of the year of admission.

Examination Pattern

The examination consists of objective papers on Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology of 300 marks each. The duration of each paper is 2-1/2 hours. The standard of the paper is of intermediate level. There's an additional paper of Hindi. However, marks secured in this paper are not added in Merit List. Candidates are required to obtain 50% (40% for SC/ST) marks in Science subject and 35% marks in Hindi/English to qualify the Test.
