Seth G.S. Medical College Mumbai (Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College)

Seth G.S. Medical College ((Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College) is the twelfth medical college to be established in India. The college was established on June1, 1925 with an intake of 46 students, out of which six were women. Seth G.S. Medical College was formally opened in 1926 and it was affiliated to the University of Bombay. Seth G.S. Medical College is attached to the King Edward Memorial Hospital, which too was started in 1926.

Undergraduate Courses:

MBBS: 180 seats, course duration 5 ½ years including one year of internship.
B.Sc. - Occupational Therapy: 40 seats; Candidate seeking admission to the course must have passed XII with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Admissions are held in the month of June-July every year
B.Sc. - Physiotherapy: 40 seats; 4 & 1/2 years degree course, yearly examination admission in rotation within three municipal colleges
